Habitat Type: Riparian habitat
Maintenance: Treatment of 149 acres
Vegetation treatment at the Colorado River Limitrophe Project occurred within 149 acres along the U.S./Mexico international border, located in Yuma County, Arizona. Targeted non-native invasive species (i.e., Tamarix ramosissima) were treated using the cut-stump method. This method entails cutting near the base using mechanized equipment (i.e., chainsaws and brush-cutters) and immediately painting with herbicide.
