RECON’s Regulatory Permitting team specializes in aquatic resource delineations and reporting and permit application preparation for projects impacting state- and federally regulated streams and wetlands. Our team of focused regulatory specialists brings a wide range of experience to the complex regulatory permitting landscape in southern California and aims to carry projects through the regulatory permitting process as efficiently as possible.

Our extensive knowledge of state and federal aquatic resource regulations, up-to-date training, strong and positive relationships with the regulatory permitting agencies, and public and private regulatory permitting work experience help our clients avoid common delays often associated with regulatory permitting. Our team also works closely and frequently with the regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), and Regional Water Quality Control Boards (RWQCBs), to stay up to date on the ever-changing regulations, standards, and protocols to minimize unnecessary setbacks in the permitting process whenever possible.
