Project Spotlight
Restoring Habitat and Reducing Wildfire Risk at Mission Trails Regional Park
RECON's Ecological Restoration Team is helping reduce wildfire risk and restore and expand native habitat at Mission Trails Regional Park through invasive vegetation management and habitat restoration.
Since 2024, RECON crews have worked across approximately 756 acres, removing 62.02 tons of green waste while supporting native plant communities and the San Diego River watershed.
