Water Districts

RECON understands the needs of water districts, including Master Plans, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Programs, and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Many water, wastewater, and recycled water facilities are located in or cross through sensitive riparian and upland areas, complicating maintenance, expansion, and development projects. RECON works with the engineering and design teams to identify the environmental constraints and the engineering solutions needed to minimize or avoid significant environmental impacts. Where impacts are unavoidable, RECON prepares revegetation plans that address temporary visual, erosion/water quality, and biological project impacts. We also assist with the CEQA Plus process where the districts apply to the State Water Resources Control Board for State Revolving Fund (SRF) grants to improve infrastructure and water quality.
